A local news affiliate in Idaho reported that the first daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama, are on a Spring Break ski trip in Sun Valley, Idaho. The story quickly spread across the Internet when picked up by the highly trafficked Drudge Report website.

Every trip made by the First Family should be justified. If it’s an official state trip such as the recent visit to Israel, then it will be all paid for.
Otherwise, the expenses should go straight to the political party organization.
If it was up to me, the First Family is permitted only one trip home (in this case Hawaii) every Christmas and Summer per year.
If the First Family really needs a place to realize, well, isn’t that why Camp David was built in the first place?
