On Saturday, President Obama marked the birthday of his “most important domestic achievement” with a statement in which he catalogued the miracles this prodigy has already performed in its first three years. Among these, you may be surprised to learn, is that it is saving us money: “Most importantly,” he said, “the growth of health care costs is beginning to slow.” He made the same claim in his SOTU address, and his toadies in the establishment media dutifully repeated it, but the facts reveal this to be just another example of Presidential prevarication.
In reality, the costs associated with the “Affordable Care Act” are already confirming the gloomiest predictions of its opponents, which probably accounts for the continued unpopularity of the law. Like most three-year-olds, new entitlements are generally regarded with an indulgent eye. Obamacare, however, has proved to be an exception. In February, the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation published a health tracking poll showing that opposition to the law had increased since its previous survey and an even more recent survey confirms that finding.
The latter was conducted on behalf of Reason: “Asked an open-ended question about what comes to mind when they hear the term ‘ObamaCare,’ 50 percent gave a negative response of some sort. At 24 percent, the largest single response was a generalized comment that the law is a bad thing.” No matter how often the President and his congressional accomplices invite us to admire the beauty of Obamacare, the public recoils from the creature. Regardless of the gaudy rhetorical frippery with which Obama & Co. adorn their progeny, the voters still know ugly when they see it.

These jackals knew exactly what they were passing. They created the "progressive" tax system 100 years ago and now take about half of many people's earnings. The socialist created Social Security and stole $2.5 trillion. They created Medicare and bankrupted it in about 35 years. Ten to fifteen percent of Medicare is fraud, waste and abuse and the political class are the crooks. And they are still $16.6T in debt and perhaps $100T in promises they cannot fulfill.
So they needed to turn all health care into one big Medicare fraud machine. You will pay $20K and get little treatment. They have nationalized about $2.5T where they get the money and then decide if you get the care. But this will not even due as they already have their focus on our private retirement accounts.
These people make Stalin and Mao look like pikers.

My question remains, tho, is why so many seemingly honorable and well meaning “in the trenches” dumblecrats went along with it and continue to do so. obamacare is what the majority of those that live in the U.S. said, via their votes, in 2006 and 2008 that they wanted. They affirmed it on Movember 6, 2012. I, personally do not like it and did not want it. However, I will not be on this earth longenough for it to matter. On the other hand, the youth who so eagerly embraced their lord, master, and to them savior will get to enjoy the full benefits of obamacare. Isn’t Almighty God good!!! A verse in the Book of Revelations,”They shed the blood of the Prophets. You gave them blood to drink”. Refers to God turning the water in the Rivers to blood. They wanted “free” healthcare, they got “free” healthcare. All it cost them was their soul. All it will cost them is their lives.
