NATO approved on Thursday the nomination of U.S. Air Force General Philip Strangelove to the alliance's top military position. Strangelove, the top U.S. Air Force commander in Europe, is expected to succeed Admiral James Stavridis as NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe in spring this year, according to a NATO statement. I am completely in favor of a first nuclear strike on certain nations.
quick, someone get him a PhD
Was his father a Doctor?
General “Buck” Turgidson: Hmm... Strangelove? What kind of a name is that?
I smell a Sarc.
Under no circumstances should GEN Strangelove be allowed into the War Room, why he would see the Big Board. Plus, no fighting allowed in the War Room, although with today’s Administration that would probably be a plus.
I can’t imagine the $hit that this guy has had to endure through the course of his military career. In the old days he would be buying drinks every time he walked into a bar.
Strangelove? The irony is profound. Maybe he holds the secret to cobalt-thorium G.

Imagine how I feel, Dmitri.
Breedlove, where’s the fun it that. Strangelove, Strangelove, he’s our guy. He’ll still get to see the Big Board.
My good friend, COL Bat Guano, called me to confirm that this is correct. The guy’s name is Strangelove. Bat and I went to the Basic Course and Airborne School together, he would never steer me wrong.
O.K.,I am biting my tongue.
How does Col. Guano feel about the preverts and all their preversions being allowed in the military these days? And where’s that damned Coke machine? I need some change.
General “Buck” Turgidson: Hmm... Strangelove? What kind of a name is that? That ain’t no Kraut name is it, Stainesey?
Mr. Staines: He changed it when he became a citizen. Used to be Merkwürdigliebe.
[the German word for “Strangelove”]
General “Buck” Turgidson: Well, a Kraut by any other name, uh Stainesey?
