Obama had the highest percent of the vote by a dem candidate since LBJ yet he still lost TX (both times) by roughly 15 points.
No way TX turns blue for a longggg time.

People overlook that reality, they also don't realize that conservatism in Texas is active, passionate, confident and committed to winning battles, and is based on religion, it has a depth and strength, conservatives in Texas know who they are and like it.

Furthermore, TX is a destination for conservatives. They ARE leaving states like CA to escape the lunacy of blue states.
