A Texan who was running for the governership back in the 80s said that ‘women should just lay back and enjoy it’ when asked about rape. He was a shoe-in to be elected but after that statement to the press Ann Richards defeated him. I have forgotten his name. I’ll remember right after I click on ‘post’. ;-)

Clayton Williams, who was leading the race for Texas Governor, over Ann Richards, until he said it.

There were ad they had an (R) by their name, these clowns have the (D) by their name and are therefore exempt from persecution.
