Where I live in Texas the shelves are stocked. At times, certain products seems to appear, disappear, and reappear for reasons I don’t understand. However, overall its’ still the cheapest place to shop, so we go there a lot.

My favorite Wal*Mart is about 25 minutes away (without traffic) in Leominster (home of Johnny Appleseed, and pronounced Lemon-stir) though there is a closer one in Hudson, the Leominster store is bigger.

People like to make fun of the “people of Wal*Mart”, which is a perverse form of snobbery. There are a lot of economically comfortable older couples (I can name one) who are habitually frugal and like the prices and convenience. You can save a lot on name brand items, and don’t have to buy printer ink by the gallon or milk in 45 gallon drums.
