Is 22 WMR the same as .22 Magnum — I think it is. That and .22 Short are the only 22s available in our local Walmarts and other ammo stores.
I just checked my WalMart for 22 Mag and no go.
I have to have some more then my small supply when I take the wife to try the new LCR I just got her — one box was all I could find the day I bought it.
22WMR is 22 mag. The only 22mag I’ve seen was rat shot.
The range is a bit limited. :-) Interesting that almost all common use ammo is not for sale. Almost everyone has a .22 rifle, or even a few. But now you can’t by ammo. So they have almost disarmed the masses by stopping the sale of ammo. Save what you have and buy what you can.
