I made a similar point yesterday. Why can't a lonely, middle aged guy (I'm 46) like me just go out, look for some hot 18-25 year old chick, toss her in the back of my Chevy and go to the Justice of the Peace? Heck, many of my school buddies are in the same position, take it further, we can divvy up the girls and by polygamists by drafting them like we woulds for a dodgeball team into our harems. B-)

I tend to be middle of the road and libertarian on this issue. I get it from both sides. What turns me off on the pro same sex marriage side is they claim equality and it is a right. First, like individuals, all marriages are not equal and second, it is not a right. Me, personally, I'm for traditional marriage but I think government ought to stay out of it but if not, leave it to the States and their people to decide. The people of California said no so it should stay that way, same if it went the other way.

If we keep pushing the equality codswallop, then why don't we have short, nearsighted middle aged players in the NBA or some jockeys that weigh 450 lbs?
