14 year old Logan Ward was looking for ways to raise money to go on a school trip to Europe, and came up with the notion to raffle a cow. He then put his plan into action and started selling tickets for this raffle. The young boy never expected anything major to happen over this, but it did. The animal advocacy group PETA Began attacking Logan for this and started sending emails and pictures Inappropriate him.
"It Seems a bit odd That you feel the need for someone to Have to Die so That you could go on a trip. I Feel That we both can agree That there are more humane ways to raise money That Does not Involve Death or mutilated animals "That was said an email sent by Whitney Calk.

Are you talking about people whose money is taken from them by force? Are you talking about people who oppose such spending with both the soapbox and the ballot box? Are you talking about people who obey Jesus’ command to “render unto Ceasar the things that are Ceasar’s”?
For the sake of balance, you might want to post some pictures of a typical CAFO with acres of cattle knee deep in their own manure or you can just stick with cherry picking nature photos.
FR has a few whiny PETAtards in residence too.

Are you talking about the Jesus who said you should sell your possessions, give the “caesars” to the poor, and follow him?
Its your cause. Why don't you post the pictures?
They have money to donate to environmental terrorists that get people killed and cause millions in jealous damages, such as ELF.
And the "pukes" make other people puke by either tasting their abuse of tofu in their "mock" meat and fish, or anybody exposed to their antics.
And the kid would be able to take his trip.
Ha! I figured you’d try to change the subject.
I think he ought to add a pig and a chicken and maybe a little lamb!!
Give it a rest.
You don’t like the CAFO’s, as you call them? Feel free to purchase the required land and facilities to run a beef farming operation that is in keeping with your views about how such an operation should be run.
Please, don’t just sit there and whine, SHOW US how it should be done.
Rest? I make ONE statement and you accuse me of over doing it?? Whos really doing the whining?

A friend of mine and I are looking into starting a pastured beef operation. It will modeled after what Joel Salatin has been successfully doing at Polyface Farm. Go check it out.
Ok, youve been shown.
Yeah, let me know how it all works out for ya.
Make sure to label your more expensive meat as non-CAFO to lure in the PETA types.
Me? I’ll take the less expensive meat or slaughter my own. Thanks.

First, PETA doesn't like eating of any kind of meat.
Second, your 'cheap' meat is artifically cheap because the cattle are fattened up on highly subsidized corn. More and more of that corn is geneticly modified much ot Monsanto's benefit to to the detriment of our health. Once pasture fed beef a put in a CAFO and fed on corn, several things happen. The cow start getting sick because God designed them to eat grass not grains so they're loaded up with antibiotics. CLA virtually disappears and the good Omega-3 Omega-6 ratios reverse.
We used to spend 18% of our income on food and 9% on health care, Today, we spend about 9% on artificially cheap food and 18% on pre-Obamacare health care. I would venture to say that most of our health problems today are food related so what you save through buying artifically cheap food you'll more than compensate for in increased health care costs.
My suggestions to you would be to educate yourself on food safey/sovreignty issues, buy locally from farmers you can trust and learn to grow and preserve your own food. It only takes 3 days for the average grocery store to run out of food. I've seen them go faster in hurricane season here. When there is crisis, real or manufactured, it doesn't take long for it to effect the food supply.
