The Joint Strike Fighter Lightning II aircraft will be based at RAF Marham, Defence Secretary Philip Hammond has confirmed, securing the future of the station. But other stations will be affected in a "rationalisation" of the defence estate, ministers have said.
The fighter aircraft, which has continued to hit recent headlines due to design issues, is to be the most advanced jet ever delivered to the armed forces, the Ministry of Defence said.

“RAF Marham to get F-35”...if it’s ever actually built.
Yeah, there is that. Fingers crossed the 3 that the UK has right now gets turned into the 50+ we need.
How many F-35s have been built so far? Who is currently flying them?
They’ve already started building them haven’t they? They’re just fine tuning them from what I understand before they go into service.
