DAPHNE, Alabama -- A 21-year-old has been arrested after police say he put medication into a plastic Easter egg which mingled with 1,500 others and made its way into the hands of a 6-year-old Sunday.
Jarret Anthony Helm was arrested and charged with one count of disorderly conduct, according to the Daphne Police Department. He is being held in Daphne City Jail.
Officials say Helm was volunteering at Christ the King Catholic Church Sunday when he "inadvertently and accidentally," mixed a plastic Easter egg holding his ADHD medication with 1,500 bound for the March 24 Easter Family Fun Day egg hunt.

So, what is the difference between this and the Tylenol poisonings years ago?
Exactly! Battery is at least another charge. Careless conduct, reckless conduct, etc.
LOL! That is a bit of an odd response, given that it is usually applied when the looks of a female are in question.
Adderol is not taken at night...if you intend to sleep
This drug is one of the most abused on college campuses....as it acts like a stimulant... many use it before a long nite of study. A number of college kids manage to fake ADHD to get prescriptions
Another freaking moron who thinks it is funny to get kids high or drunk. Nutcase.
Maybe it’s a different brand that I know about. It’s prescribed to be taken at bedtime for him.
Well, you just haven't lived until you've seen Tom DeLay's mug shot:
all politicians smile instinctively when a camera is put in front of their face.
doesn’t count.
They're still out there. Generally the top floor of most large hospitals is the mental ward. Locked stairwells that only unlock when the fire alarm is pulled, limited access to elevators, security guards etc.
I think what you mean to say is that it should be easier to get in ...
Classic.
In the Tylenol poisonings, people died. There's nothing in the news story indicating that the 6-year-old even got sick.

Take it easy, Sarge. It appears to have been accidental and nobody got hurt.

It IS a stimulant. A very powerful stimulant. A mixture of four different amphetamines.

Yes, and it's available on the black market just like any other drug. It's my understanding that the street value is $10.00 a pill.
