What could the man do? Dewhurst was his LT Gov.
I voted for Ted Cruz 3 times to get him to the Senate.

Dewhurst was fine but to much of a good ol boy to let become entrenched.

We needed some new blood

What could the do? He could have at least tried to pretended he had a spine and support the best man for the job.

I will say this for Perry, he is not using his position to enrich himself.

Dewhurst had to go, before he got to big.

Agreed, I did same and have no regrets with Ted Cruz.
