Jewish and protestant representatives were allowed to speak, as was a member of the Muslim brotherhood. No Catholic bishop was invited to speak even though the vast majority of participants identify with Catholicism, sociologically at least, and it is an open secret that Sundays turnout was largely due to the Catholic hierarchys support.
