Just AWFUL news...I met him once. He, ELS, Goetz_von_Berlichingen and I (there may have been another northeast freeper with us) met for some food and to see "The Patriot" together. It was wonderful hanging out with him.
He was one of the first on my RevWar/Colonial History/General Washington ping list, and he shall remain there always.
Rest In Peace; you will be missed by more than you would ever know.

I remember meeting up with Doctor Raul in Newark, NJ for a Torricelli fund raiser at the NJ PAC. President Clinton was there and we had great fun!
A few months later Doctor Raul and I met in Elizabeth, NJ for a more personal FReep of President Clinton attending a fundraiser at Rep Lesniak’s home.
He was definitely full of personality and character.
