Good. They’ll be going on tours to museums and boring stuff that they’ll be very grateful for as an educational experience and bonding time with the elders. Excellent.
They wont’ be sitting around drinking cokes and swimming. It’s not even time well spent. It’s idle time.
Oh, I don’t think they’ll be bored. They like art and music, historic sites, shopping (even without buying ;-), going to restaurants and parks, and so on. I’d like to go, too, but I have a nursing baby. My last vacation without the Complete Horde was in 2003. (Mom took me to Amsterdam to celebrate her 65th birthday.)
