A T-shirt worn by a 3-year-old nursery-schooler named Jihad has led to an unusual and politically charged criminal trial here that tests the limits of free speech and common sense in a France increasingly ill at ease with its growing Muslim population. You can regulate speech but I doubt you'll ever be able to regulate common sense. She named the kid 'Jihad'. She put him in a tee shirt that said he was a bomb. She doesn't expect people to put two and two together?

And unless I missed something, they don’t sell shirts like that at Bon Marche or Old Navy. She had to have had it custom printed, which pretty much underscores her intentions of provoking a whirlwind.
