That would depend on so many factors, such as where you are to begin with, and the nature of the problem one is in.
I fled the USSA 12 years ago, and have not regretted it for one moment.
If I were still back in west Tennessee, my first choice would be to head for the hills...Smoky Mountains.
Preppers need to have multiple plans, depending on the problem. One plan will not likely cover all potential problems.
Then you are, by your own admission, out of the discussion. You cut and ran. You can say nothing that I will take seriously.
