CBS-11 has learned two state troopers involved in a controversial roadside cavity search of two North Texas women have been indicted on criminal charges by a Dallas County Grand Jury.
CBS-11 has learned that one of the troopers, Kelley Helleson, who left the courthouse after testifying Friday, is charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of official oppression.
She was seen on dashcam video searching the body cavities front and back of the two women along an exit ramp of the Bush Turnpike in Irving last summer.
The Texas Department of Public Safety fired Helleson.
CBS-11 has learned the other trooper in the case, David Farrell, is charged with theft after one of the women said her prescription bottle of the painkiller hydrocodone was missing after the search

A little edification.
What amazes me is how someone can be so out of touch with reality, that they have a ZERO sense of boundaries, that they can go up to a stranger on the street and go places on their body without having any grasp that they are way beyond the limits of behavior in the setting and the situation.
Way to lie about FR and freepers, by the way, the male cop seems to be a doper himself.
They were just applying for a TSA job. < / sarc > lol
excuse me for being so dumb but what exactly is a “cavity search” and how is it done? i mean, what? you probe around in their or what exactly do you do?
last time i heard that term used was at the dentist.
Could have been worse, 6 cavities one glove. Ugh!
Doug is spot-on with respect to how many FReepers defend the idiotic “War on Drugs”. It is even more stupid than the “War on Terrorism”.
He is not lying, and saying he is, is just profoundly clueless.
At least the complaint doesn't mention whether she rested both hands on the ladies shoulders during the cavity search.
This is not the United States I was born in.
Well I’ve never had one or done one officially, but its this officer took a gloved hand and inserted a finger(s) into the womens rectum and vagina.
Supposedly to determine if they had hidden drugs in those locations.
No, “scores” of freepers will not be defending this cavity search.
I remember this story and vid.
Good news.
100% correct.
There are many Statists who consider themselves to be “law-and-order” Conservatives.
And why did the women allow it? Even at gunpoint anyone who tried it on me would pull back a stump.
“One glove for both cavities on both women”
Trained by the TSA. :-)
When the story first came out I wondered that same thing too. But it’s a good thing they let it all be captured on tape and that’s what other freeper said when the story first came out. I don’t know how they kept their composure.
however keeping their composure they were able to expose these 2 criminals.
The officer smelled marijuana. That's a canned response whenever officers seek to gain entry into a person's car.
I'd have said to the rogue cop...NO! You cannot search my car...get a dope dog out here.
When the cop began to do the cavity search, I would have been tazed or roughed up.
Wow....just wow. Protect and serve? Right.
Every bit of power that the left uses to round us up and send us to reeducation camps in a few years will have been in some way made possible by many on the right. Between the war on drugs and the war on terrorism, the socialists now have the infrastructure capable of enslaving all of us. All they need is a bit of gun control or at least support for gun control, and ... an event. Just one single event.
Well said!
What one has to ask or what the "complaint" filed in this case, is more then likely missing, would be Without due process of law under the 4th & 5th & 14th Amendment(s), complainant(s) was denied her / there Constitutional protections.
Without due process of law under the 4th & 5th & 14th Amendment(s), complainant was denied her/ there Constitutional protections to 42 USC § 1983. (Just in case you do not know what "§" stands for / represents, it refer's to "Subsection".)
Without due process of law under the 4th & 5th & 14th Amendment(s), complainant(s) was denied her/ there Constitutional protections to 18 USC § 242. (Reference both Police Officers)
Without due process of law under the 4th & 5th & 14th Amendment(s), complainant(s) was denied her/ there Constitutional protections to 18 USC § 241. (Reference both Police Officers, in their individual capacity as citizens with knowledge of the law.)
In all Federal claims, the minimum (you can always ask for more) that can be asked / requested, is $50,000.00 (fifty thousands dollars) per violation, so 12 violation Federal claims @ $50,000.00 (fifty thousands dollars) should add up to a minimum of $600,000. that's just for starter's. I could keep going but then I'm not a "lawyer."
When a "lawyer" tells you you can't write a complaint the way I have, time to look for another "Bar Member," that will. They are out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you believe that just talking to maybe two (2) or three (3) lawyers, constitutes looking, I'll save you the trouble, you can't write a complaint the way I have.;-) End of sarcasm, reference this paragraph only.§
Next time, the gestapo will throw a jacket over the windshield camera first.
