A police investigation has been launched into the death of the 67-year-old - a wanted man in Russia, and an opponent of President Vladimir Putin. A former Kremlin power-broker whose fortunes declined under Mr Putin, Mr Berezovsky emigrated to the UK in 2000. Thames Valley Police said the death, at a property in Ascot, Berkshire, was being treated as unexplained. The area around the property has been cordoned off to allow the investigation to take place, the force said. The inquiry was at a very early stage and more details will be released when available, it added. A South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said it had been called to the property at 15:18 GMT. "We sent a number of ambulance officers and an ambulance to the address. The 67-year-old male was confirmed deceased at the scene,"

"MOSCOW Boris A. Berezovsky, once the richest and most powerful of the so-called oligarchs who dominated post-Soviet Russia, and a close ally of Boris N. Yeltsin who helped install Vladimir V. Putin as president but later exiled himself to London after a bitter falling-out with the Kremlin, died Saturday."

Probably. I assume Putin follows Stalin’s famous quotation “no man, no problem”, that is, kill him and the problem goes away.

I’m an early sunday morning food trip shopper - stores are empty and a breeze to get thru - and if either Weis or Giant have it, I’ll try some. Thanks for the tip!

This is a little off subject but somewhat relevant. I know a girl from Russia
Who told me several years ago she went to Moscow to visit. Her friends had a self-cleaning shower. She said we don’t always have the latest and greatest anymore.
It would seem Russia is still a country run by non-emasculated men so they are advancing while we wither in a nanny state dominated by women who don’t really want to be women and men who cater to them.
