If Christ is king, the Mary is Queen(Mother) of heaven. In the Bible, we read that in the kingdom of Judah, the queen mother has considerable influence, as in the case of Bethsheba, the mother of Solomon. And why not? He owed his throne to her. As for Mary, God’s little joke on the mighty is that this humble woman, who was so poor she had to hunt frantically for a lost coin, ranks above them all. So we imagine her dressed up in this royal finery.

Where in the scriptures is the “Lost Coin” woman identified as Mary?

And....It seems to me that Mary and Joseph were middle class. He was a carpenter. Mary’s family was able to afford a trip for her to visit her cousin. That Mary gave birth in a stable was not due to their being homeless. They were sent on this dangerous trek to Bethlehem by the government so taxes could be collected.

If we go by Scripture and not man, we find that the Queen of Heaven is mentioned in Jeremiah 7:18 and 44:18. She is an abomination to God. Read about her. Below is a commentary on Jeremiah 44:18 it tells you who she is and now you know why she is an abomination to Yahweh.

44:18 Queen of heaven refers to Ishtar, a goddess of war and fertility who was worshiped with explicit sexual activity. The people reasoned that when they stopped worshiping the queen of heaven in the days of Josiah’s reform, their king was killed and their land was overrun and destroyed.
44:19 Women were leaders in the Ishtar rites, which included incense burning, drink offerings, and special ceremonial cakes marked with the symbol of the goddess (7:18).
