The National Rifle Associations fundraising pace continues to quicken amid fears of new restrictions on firearms, with the gun lobbys political action committee posting its best single month of fundraising in more than a decade. If only the Government would quit buying up ammunition so that the folks could get their part. Seems that they have discovered another way to prevent gun sales.
The past 2 times they have called hubby has donated....for both of us. He had stopped because of money issues. Not the past 2 times.
The manufacturers need to step up on this and designate half their product to “the people.”
I agree - they need to stop selling to the Government and only allow sales when their is excess available. Wouldn’t that tick off the Government! I do like that many Gun manufacturers are doing just that. You limit sales to ordinary folks, then you don’t get our business. Wish that ammunition sales would do the same or better, only sell to individuals unless there is an excess.

Feets don’t fail us now.
This reminds of a question that I have about giving to freerepublic.
I learned that if you are going to trickle tiny amounts to the NRA that you need to do it anonymously, or else they will eat up your entire tiny donation and more, in mailings and soliciting you.
So my question about freerpublic is, while we don’t have to worry about anonymity since we don’t get mailings, we do have to worry about a tiny $3.00 or $5.00 donation being reduced through fees of some sort.
What is the best fee free, or reduced fee method for tiny donations to FR?
As long as the crook David Keene is running NRA, I would not send him a dime.
And that took leaving the polls open in Bridgeport for for a extra two hours.
