Maybe we need law requiring that all public servants have 5% of their travel costs deducted from their pay.
They make the laws, so it won’t happen.
Congress should set a Per Diem travel for official travel, and anything over that amount would come out of their own pocket. Also, travel by family members should be at the official’s expense. A spouse & children are not elected to represent America.
