Radical idea: Stop supporting Republicans not 100% against homo-marriage.

The spread will stop.

So many GOP-er’s are revealing themselves either as allies in this deviancy, or cowards by their silence. Just like Romney’s unbelievably pathetic response to that reporter’s question during the Chick-Fil-A protest. Impossible to have any respect for such craven “leaders.”

I fully support gay marriage. Not because I think it is good, right, or based on anything other than narcissistic wants.

I support gay marriage because of divorce.

When a marriage ends and the lawyers get involved you find out all kinds of things about the relationship.

I can not wait till a marriage involving money gets going.....

We will discover that gays/lebs/trans-genders are totally f**ked up people with bizarre sexual practices.

I can not wait to find out how much infidelity, selfish, and childish these totally narcissistic individuals they are. GAY MARRIAGE = DIVORCE

Portman will pay almost no political price for this endorsement because the Republican leadership class agrees with him. Politico titled its story, “GOP elite embraces Portman gay marriage switch,” reporting: “The reality Portman’s flip-flop exposed is this: among the Republican political community, the people who actually run campaigns and operate super PACs

In 2010 Palin endorsed Joe Miller, won the Alaska Senate primary and Murkowski left the GOP and ran as an independent, the Senate republicans came out and announced that the people of Alaska would be forgiven if they backed Murkowski, she paid no price for leaving the party and running against it.

Here is the problem -- once the democrat party went down the tubes, the GOP wasn't any different. Party elites -- think atheist Karl Rove -- really only care about fiscal issues. The party planked up social issues, however, because in the past social and fiscal conservatism went hand in hand within the American populace, and they wanted to corner the market on rightwing voters completely.

However, they've been working behind the scenes the whole time to gradually divorce social conservatism from the party. Their machiniations are coming to fruition, with this recent trend of fiscally conservative-ish, but socially totally liberal, republican candidates. They think that social conservatism is dead, they don't need us anymore, to they're dumping us out of the party because in truth they never wanted us anyway.

IMHO.

You know...it’s so crazy...it just mite work!

Now If I could just get more Freepers to consider my cunning yet brilliant plan instead of wanting to ‘win’ at any cost, we might head in the right direction.

Very few gays are going to get married....that is not the point. The point is to make the gay lifestyle to be considered on par with heterosexual lifestyles, and to destroy what gays refer to as “heteronormative society.”

The old line influential republicans and the ranks of high level republican politicians have their share of homosexuals too.

And in those circles allegiance to the Old Boys Club is usually stronger than ethics, morals or campaign promises.

The scenario I laid out will help to destroy the image you cite.

They are not telling the truth. Resistance to Gay Marriage is not eroding, not at all. Those who think still oppose it. Marriage was created by people to insure that children had a home with a man and a women. It was and is nothing else. For sexual perverts to distort the facts to provide for them to pretend to be married is a further perversion. There is no such thing as gay marriage or could there ever be. No matter how many politicians proclaim it, it will never be.

For me, the cost is way too high if THAT’S what I have to support.

People may believe anything they want regarding Gay marriage but believing they can change it is as foolish as believing the sun won’t come up in the morning.

This country is in the midst of some radical changes. Some are important some are of the world changing variety, and some are insignificant and some are WITHGAS. It is the first I worry about. AND NO OTHERS. We can deal with those concerns after we get control of the Senate.

I am concerned that we have no ability to prioritize.

Yell, scream, call me names and kick off FR. But you ain’t gonna change reality

Gay Marriage

Unless I'm missing something, I'm completely aware of God's endorsement of the Holy Matrimony of sodomites.

If indeed that is the case, the screaming brown-short liberals are violating one of their own most sacrosanct progressive tenets..."The Separation of Church and State".
