However youre counting the numbers, they hurt.
JCPenney revealed in a regulatory filing yesterday that it finished its fiscal year ended Feb. 2 with 116,000 employees a whopping 43,000 less than a year earlier.
Thats a slashing of 27 percent even steeper than the companys disastrous revenue decline of 24.8 percent for the same period.
Its also more than twice the figure of 19,000 job cuts that Chief Executive Ron Johnson testified to under oath earlier this month, when asked during the companys trial with Macys and Martha Stewart how many Penney employees had lost their jobs on his watch.

Not only that...they had rabid anti-Bush liberal Kenny Mayne from ESPN as their shirt spokesperson. I am happy the company is going bankrupt but I feel those employees losing their jobs. And that faggot catalogue didn;t help either.
I know I will never again shop because of the gay ads. And I am fairly certain I am not alone.

Is Woolworth still around?
I thought ‘Degenerate’ was added around 2010? Elections must have screwed up my timetable :p
where are all the fat lesbians going to shop?
Lol :D
He is probably one of their few customers ;)
Shame, such a good company (Christian owner and creator), has fallen to the disgusting level it is at now.
He is definitely rolling in his grave :/
Btw, sadly link didn’t work from my PC.. it took me straight to a Japanese Google search (clean).. :/
Honestly, I think if they replaced the queer CEO and did heavy PR (panic mode) adverts on going back to moral items and beliefs... it could happen.. (Think something similar to Chick-Filet)..
Them queers don’t shop at JC Penny, they go to Nordstroms or better.
Get a clue Penny’s!
>> “Okay... Sure Ellen might have turned off some people but a boatload like her.” <<
Three dislike her for every one that likes her.
If you want to promote queers, there are sites for that purpose, but FR is not one of them.
I agree. I used to buy my youngest daughter a lot of her clothes for school at Penney's. Now, I look at the t-shirts for young women and the material is so thin that it is see-through, and would probably not last many washings.
I agree, also, with those that have said the store is empty when they go into one. I have had the same experience, empty store, not a lot of merchandise. Hubby used to go with me to Penneys in January because they would have good sales on dress shirts and ties for work. A year ago, we went in and no one was in there (on a Saturday), there was hardly any merchandise. We both just looked around, shook our heads, and left.
I think that the Ellen DeGeneris and the print catalogs featuring gay women and gay men to promote Mother's and Father's Day was a big mistake by them. I won't argue, though, that they were going downhill, and these things just pushed down on the accelerator.
>> “JCP has fundamental problems with their strategy rollout.” <<
.
Yes, the ‘strategy’ of shoving queers down the throats of young families with children is failing as it should.
Here is a USA Today link that says the same..
LOL. Yep, that's what this thread will turn into, as they ignore the fact that Ellen's TV show continues to draw advertisers and rake in millions$$$$$$$.
I don’t doubt you at all, my friend :) just some strange things happen with Google links over here :p
Strange things happen with Google everywhere. But, given that Google is run by liberal kooks, I do not believe the anomalies to be accidental. :-)
I have wondered the same thing. If they would go back to their former marketing/sales strategies and ditch the “everyday low prices”/homo agenda marketing. Plus add back the customer service that we used to get there.
