You call Santorum “frothy” and yourself “freeper” at the same time? This is not the same Free Republic I remember. Did I step into the twilight zone?
He has a horrible name and the personality of a doorknob. I don’t care how conservative he is, he stood no chance in 2012 and would do even worse in 2016 against a real field of conservatives.

Santorum is simply not likeable and not sellable. He’s not a good conservative except on social issues, and he’s not the only Republican in America who is right on social issues. Think outside the box for a change.
We will remain in the twilight zone until we put forth a candidate that can garner more votes than the democrat. It doesn’t take a rino to win, but it’s a sure loss with the likes of Hucksters and Sanatoriums.
Santorum’s more of an Establishment guy than many Freepers realize.
