Hold yourbreath all you want, but we cant drive policy from one house.
And acting like extremists with empty bluffs is not going to win any followers.

Evrrything before this year was both sides punting, to see who would win. If you count the race for the Senate in that assessment, then expect nothing to change. Even in putting together a cohesive national strategy to retake the Senate, the Republicans punted, or as I think, were just too passive and incompetent to do it.
If they couldn't even muster the energy to fight to take the chamber, they will never fight to win a bill.
This generation of Republican leadership cowers from the power they have. It's their nature.
