Here’s the astounding bit. You never, never surprise your host. There are numerous lower level protocol droids who work out these issues. A lower level Obamabot should have contacted the protocol person in Bibi’s office and said, “The president would like to yadda, yadda.” Then, the guy in Bibi’s office would go work out the details and make it happen seamlessly. The same is true for Hillary’s “reset” disaster. Somebody lower down in the Russian ministry would have told his counterpart working for Hillary, “Well, first off, it will have no meaning to the minister as we don’t have a Staples store here and he’s never seen that advertisement. Secondly, you used the wrong word. Why don’t you just have them shake hands?”
As for the wrong fuel in the president’s limo, I’m shocked that anybody ever gets close to the limo let alone gets to fuel it. It should have its own security team. Something is fishy here. I was shocked that somebody managed to put an embarrassing decal on the door Obama gets in by. That should never have happened.
