The Child Protective people (with police escort) showed up, the wife called the husband who drove home to be there, had his attorney specializing in 2nd amendment rights on the cellphone speakerphone function, during the discussion with folks.

He asked the Child Protective people to identify themselves, they didn't. He asked for their warrant when they wanted to look in his gun safe; they didn't have one. He then told them to leave, which they reluctantly did.
