The Arkansas state Senate approved a measure on Tuesday to require voters to show photo identification before they can cast a ballot, sending it to Democratic Governor Mike Beebe who has not said whether he would sign it into law.
The measure passed on a 22-12 vote along party lines in the states Republican-controlled Senate. It had already passed the Republican-led House on a 51-44 vote, with support from one Democrat.
If it does become law, Arkansas would join the nearly three dozen states that have similar laws on the books, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Once again, its time for Wisconsin to join the ranks of states with Voter ID. The major populations in Wisconsin (2-3 cities) control the voting and not surprisingly, they are also the cities with the greatest number of minorities and of course libturds. Gove. Walker has another challenge on his hands and is till fighting the issue of breaking the unions here. That issue still has not been resolved with the pending lawsuits agains’t his efforts.
The one honest Democrat might be dead by now.
Holder’s DOJ is preparing a visit as we write.
