It’s not just you...I’m bored to tears listening to someone jabber on endlessly for information I could take in more quickly and completely by reading.
We appear to be part of a diminishing minority. More and more sites are dominated by video rather than text. I have no problem with video when it presents information more effectively than text.
But more often, as you say, it’s just poorly shot and edited footage of someone talking about what could be read more efficiently.
At the same time and in the reverse situation, my daughters will text me back and forth for 10 minutes rather than spend 3 minutes talking on the phone.
Very weird.
Ditto that, X10. Videos are huge time wasters, and they have to be REALLY, REALLY enticing to get me to even glance at them. Whoever said a picture is worth a thousand words was obviously a very slow reader.
