I don’t understand the converse meaning. What we must know about this century is that the Democrat of old doesn’t exist. A black president doesn’t mean he has anything in common with an American who is black. This is a foreign ideology which picks whatever serves it.

How could the GOP alienate me any more than it already has? The Party abandoned fiscal conservatism. It abandoned social conservatism. It serves up “leaders” like Boehner that capitulate at the drop of a hat, and come across like yellow-bellied cowards. It has a convention that won’t even let the words “tea party” be uttered. It backstabbed the first conservative leader since Reagan that truly gave me optimism about the country’s future and treated her like trash. So what is their answer? More amnesty, more homo-marriage? More Karl Rove and his blackboard on FoxNews?

No, I just don’t think the Party could alienate me any more than it already has. The GOP obviously does not share either my conservative ideology nor my values. Heck, it doesn’t even seem to stand for anything anymore, other than being perhaps a corrupt “little brother” for the Dems. It’s not even in the most remote sense fulfilling its duty to be the “opposition” party. I’ve supported and voted GOP my entire adult life, but they have truly lost me. Not that I suspect it would matter to them, considering the directions they are moving.

I know this comes in an anniversary of sorts. To remember the fallicies and loss of one war or another. I remind you that After all the expenditure and loss it was always the dems who lay the path to defeat. Then look back and criticize.

Diversity is simply a buzz-word. Do I want ‘diversity’ in the party? I DON’T CARE. As long as you’re a conservative, climb aboard. Some of my favorite politicians are minorities, and some are (shock!) white people. I actually judge individuals based on their values.

I’d take one Allen West over 1 million Harry Reids

But...

I’d also take one Steve King over 1 million Maxine Waters’

We need to stop looking at this through the prism of ‘we need to adapt to minority voters’. This is crap. Minorities need to adapt to US! They’ll be better for it. What the hell have DemoRats ever done for minorities? Herded African Americans into death-trap tenements where their kids get shot at after they get out from their dilapidated schools? Hispanics, as if they are some amorphous group with no distinctions between them. What have Democrats done for ‘Hispanics’? Is giving illegal aliens amnesty really a gift to Hispanics? No. It’s a gift to CRIMINALS. It’s the same as the pedophilia laws in Colorado. They’re helping CRIMINALS. Where is the Democratic compassion for Hispanics when it comes to opposing the tyranny in Castro’s Cuba, and in places like Honduras? It’s NOWHERE! Did Obama give a damn about the Mexican civilians murdered by HIS Justice Department’s gun running scheme? NO!

You wanna know why you lose, Republican strategists? It’s because you don’t EXPOSE Democrats for what they are. You never challenge them on the emotional side, and why not? They’re WEAK. All of their compassion is phony. Will you ever use the facts that are with us? Will you ever point out the life expectancy of homosexuals? Will you ever bring the victims of Obama’s EPA to Capitol Hill, and give a speech in front of them? Will you ever present these people who have had their lives destroyed by this president? Will you ever run ads like the recent one linking gun control to the Jim Crow Laws, done by a brave conservative? No. You’ll never do these things because you’re cowards. The Democrats aren’t where they are because they’re strong. They’re there because you’re weak!
Every single time a Democrat calls a Republican racist, you should shout back at them that they were the party of lynch mobs, and that black people in this country have continued to suffer in every inner city under Democrat control.

I am so sick of hearing about this artificial diversity we need to create. You could have 90% black conservatives and the media would STILL only show the white people, because they’re pushing their agenda, and they hate our agenda.
I have seen Paul McKinley, a black man running for Jesse Jackson Jr.’s seat, speak in simple terms about a conservative alternative to the leftist corruption machine. Will he win? It’s possible, but it doesn’t matter, because I have seen the video of black constituents who had voted solid Democrat saying after they listened to Paul, their eyes were opened.
Our message WORKS, and it works because we’re right. The thing you suck at, GOPe, is taking that message to the people, and dismantling the socialists on the other side. You suck at that because you don’t believe in it.
If we filled this party with people who actually believed in our principles, and were intelligent enough to argue the conservative cause and WIN that argument, we’d never lose! Reagan won two landslides. That wasn’t because of the times. That was because of who he was and what he did. We need more Reagans, less Bushes. Bushes will lose, 9 times out of 10. That’s the reality, white, black, yellow, or green, so you can shove your engineered diversity at the cost of principled conservatism, Reince.

A similar ultimatum was issued to contemporary Christianity. Become relevant by discarding God's laws and implementing social causes. In the process, contemporary Christianity has become irrelevant.

If remaining politically viable means I've got to embrace fags, abortion and crimigrants as ok, then no thanks.

Being conservative is not that important for a good portion of FReepers. As
long as their team wins is all that matters.

Then they are welcome to KMA.

I won't vote for anyone that is for abortion, against firearms, for big government or for socialized medicine.

Want my vote? Do be that. It's pretty simple.

Last election 96% of blacks, 75% of Asians, and 73% of Hispanics voted for Obama. The Democrats have always carried inority groups by a very convincing margin.

Republican Party, you need to get this though your thick skull — Minorities don’t hate you because you don’t reach out to them. Minorities hate you because, in their eyes, you represent white America and, in their eyes, white America must be toppled so they can take control. As shocking as that may sound, Republican Party, because you actually do absolutely nothing to represent white interests and because as whites you’ve been excoriated to never think in such stark racial terms, that is the truth and that’s why your attempts to win over minorities will fail miserably.

Not really, aside from the mysterious black thing of voting pure republican until totally reversing themselves in 1936, we used to do pretty well with some Asians and in 2004, the republicans won 56% of the Hispanic Protestants, even in 2008 in a perfect racial storm, the GOP won 48% of Protestant Hispanics.

Protestant Hispanics are about a 50/50 vote, so it is clear that something can be done to appeal to Hispanics.

Bush lost African-Americans eleven to one in 2000 and nine to one in 2004, and Bush lost Hispanics by only two to one in 2000 and three to two to 2004. While the Hispanic vote split during the bush years doesn’t seem that large, it’s still greater than what the white vote split typically is. In 1996, howver, Clinton swept the Hispanic vote seventy to twenty-one. Among first-time Hispanic voters, and his margin was ninety-one to six. Clearly, Hispanics strongly support the Deocrat Party over the Republican Party.

And why are you only considering Protestant Hispanics when most Hispanics are Catholic?

If republicans are running about 50/50 with Protestant Hispanics, then surely you can see that using the word “Hispanic” as though it is a fixed race or genetic thing, is inaccurate and not useful.

A Conservative movement should see that and know that there must be ways to appeal to Hispanics, and study on that.

It is also worth looking at what is changing with Asians, that is if you want to change things, or you can just post the same stuff that we already know and we can just complain about it again, or maybe just wish on a star.

You point out facts, but they are not popular with the suicidal pontificators who try to out do each other in demeaning our party.
