How do you force alcohol on someone? I suppose it would be possible if they set up an IV, but handing a drunk a drink is not forcing it on them. By your way of thinking, a bartender filling a glass would be forcing it on the customer...
You do realize it’s against the law in most states to continue serving alcohol to an intoxicated person?
Once intoxicated, the person cannot give consent to continue drinking - just like a ten year old cannot legally consent to sex, even if s/he says “yes.”
It is, in fact, illegal for a bar tender to continue serving an obviously inebriated customer.
