By golly that’ll put an end to them there senseless shootings for sure. NOT! So, I’m STILL waiting for one of these radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbags to ‘splain how any of these proposals will stop some mind numb degenerate from committing another heinous act. Crickets at 140db................... Hello? Hello? Anybody there? Maybe a 6th grader could explain it for me. No? Didn’t think so.

I thought this report was to be about what actually happened at Sandy Hook Elementary. Not just more political propaganda.

The panel also believes Connecticut officials should consider requiring all K-12 classrooms to be equipped with doors that can be locked from the inside and hardware that's capable of implementing a full perimeter lockdown.

So essentially, they are recommending that we turn schools into voluntary learning prisons? This is unreal.

I remember just 15 years ago I was in high school and we could go to the bathroom without being accosted in the halls. We might need a piece of paper with "Bathroom Pass" written on it, but that was to ensure we were legitimately out of class. I could pass by any number of administrators on golf carts or even the school resource officer with just a "Hello!" and a smile.

Nowadays you have to have an adult escort, must wear name badges with RFID chips, and the classroom doors are locked from the inside? What the Hell are we creating here? This isn't an environment of learning. This is a PRISON!

Puppage, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Your government is going to protect you now, so just give them what they ask and don't you dare quote the law or you'll be considered a TEA Party reprobate.

Did they mention the cause or the mental makeup of the shooter? Or was it the gun’s fault.

Reed the bill and weep. SB1076 will require YEARLY registration guns and renewal of license to carry.

This state is done. I want out.

Framing this debate around mental health is a bad idea, too. When they decide anyone who thinks differently than they do then they will justify taking your guns.

There's a presumption that if the 3rd graders are facing a murderer who has to stop momentarily in his killing frenzy they will be able to do a bums' rush and take him out.

Hmm ~ I see a disconnect between the minds of the antigun crowd and reality.

“universal background checks for all gun sales and transfers”....would have had no effect in Newtown.

“the registration of all firearms”...would have had no affect in Newtown.

“bans on high-capacity magazines and possession or sale of guns capable of firing more than 10 rounds of ammunition without reloading.”....Lanza went to several different rooms and fired 152 rounds, which constitutes at least 5 magazine changes...but probably more because he dropped some magazines half full. No first graders tried to tackle him. The only thing that stopped him were other people with guns. This would have had no effect in Newtown.

“Looks like I am gunna be a felon.....”

Yup ..me too.

The Sandy Hook communist stooges went full bore. Not really enough of us to punish Democrats either.

So Malloy steals the election and this is what we get. Time to split.
