..because a bag of Frito’s don’t cost $13.59 moron
The Minimum Wage is used by Unions as a Benchmark. If the Minimum Wage was $22 and hour. All their jobs would be outsourced.
Hey, why just $22/hour?
I say $32/hour for the minimum wage (So, want to one up me? I’ll just add ten to whatever you insist, and I got plenty of numbers !! ).
:)
To heck with a minimum wage - everybody should get $100K a year whether they work or not.
Why should I have to actually work? That's discriminatory!

I hasten to add that this is who teaches kids at Harvard University.
She was a Harvard Law School professor specializing in bankruptcy law.
Most integers are very large.
We have a ways to go.
Until we can’t afford the ink for all those zeros on the end.

I say $110,000. Hey, I got plenty of numbers.
Could not help but notice how well prepped and rehearsed the Dr. was as he responded to the obviously well rehearsed softball questions from Chief Sitting Squaw.
pehaps she wants a free hand to create inflation.
She is looking for a Jimmy Carter ecconomy.
Minimum wage workers aren't worth $22 an hour. They aren't worth $22 an hour because your party has been successful in converting the focus of the US public school system from education to political indoctrination.
Why shouldn’t the minimum wage be a million zillion dollars per year? If we are being compassionate with somebody else’s money, why not set the minimum wage to a million zillion dollars per hour?
This is actually a good thought experiment. What is the true reason -— not just “because that’d be crazy” -— that a minimum wage of a million zillion dollars per hour is a poor idea?
How about a million dollars per hour?
How about a thousand dollars per hour?
How about a hundred?
How about ten? Seven?
Let’s just make it $100 per hour. That’ll wipe out all private commercial activity, but what the hell... as Newsweek said, “We’re all socialists now.”
If the minimum wage were $22, a happy meal would be $20. Last time the raised the minimum wage, the economy went into a tailspin. Not that the minimum wage was the primary cause, but it certainly contributed.
Why don’t we just put a million dollars in every ones bank account. Liz. The minimum wage is for hiring people who don’t know anything. As you advance your wages increase. But that is something that someone who advanced through playing the AFFIRMATIVE ACTION INDIAN CARD would not know.
:: Robust competition is a powerful force helping to ensure that workers are paid what they contribute to their employers bottom lines. ::
Precisely the basis for a “minimum wage”; there should be no ^competition^ among workers, all are the same (AKA:mediocre!). There are no “hard workers”, “concientious workers” or even “lazy workers”. there are just “workers”.
Workers of the world, Unite!
Do a study on minimum wage workers. If they voted heavily for Obama, pass the increase. Do it this year, before the 2014 elections. I don’t feel the need to save people from their choices anymore.
Because McDonald’s Haburgers would be $11 each you DUMBASS WOMAN!!!
Anyone who had her for a college ‘professor’ should demand a refund.
