WASHINGTON -- The Supreme Court will consider the validity of an Arizona law that tries to keep illegal immigrants

"That just does not seem to be an issue," Osborne said of the claim that illegal immigrants are voting. "They did not want to come out of the shadows. They don't want to be involved with the government."
What shadows is Osborne talking about ? Illegals across America are stepping out to tell the American public of their position, this being we are undocumented and unafraid. They've has those bus tours with banners attach to side of the bus...Undocumented and unafraid..Illegals not voting..How many here believe this is very rare an illegals would never vote ? This is why Illegals use document fraud to do things they cannot legally, but can do so thanks to the use of fake or stolen documents.
Seriously? We are we even DISCUSSING this?
And people want to know whats wrong with America?
The court will do what it always has, lately, and find the federal law somehow preempts the field and the state laws in conflict with it will be stricken. They have the idea that a Federal anything, overrides a State anything.
Of course, there is no real conflict, because all citizens would be allowed to vote under either the Federal or State law.
One merely offers to prove it. The other thinks it is OK to take one two-letter word for it when asked if they are US Citizens, “Si.”

Exactly.

Sadly yes- this country has lost it’s friggin mind- The supreme court ‘should’ REFUSE to hear the case because it’s BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that ONLY American citizens have the RIGHT to vote in our OWN country- The fact that this is even a ‘supreme court decision’ to hear the case tells me that we NO LONGER have a supreme court in which we can rely on for judicial matters- ESPECIALLY after john roberts the traitor sold us out to the left with his assinine vote and reasoning-
This country IS doomed- the rule of law is no logner beign upheld, and our consitutional RIGHTS are being ignored and stripped from us with hte blessings of the supreme court-
Illegal aliens are not immigrants ~ and even legal immigrants who are not citizens are not allowed to vote.
Whether or not illegals vote is irrelevant ~ the state may prohibit just all sorts of folks from voting ~ immigrants, illegal aliens, tourists, business travelers from abroad, folks in airplanes flying from one country to another, prisoners, chillun', etc.
I don't think the arguments against AZ's restrictions on illegals voting will get past even the most leftwingtard of justices.
Arizona should reference this flaw in the DOJ argument: Under the low-income, Lifeline discounted phone service program, the FCC authorized applicants to self-certify their eligibility for the program under penalty of perjury. No longer! In the Lifeline Reform order released February, 2012, the FCC, citing fraud and abuse in self-certification, now requires all applicants to provide documented proof of eligibility. So there is a need to document eligibility in order to get discounted phone service but, heck, it’s not necessary to do so in order to safeguard the integrity of our electoral system?
Seriously?

Obama and his Marxists are at WAR with Arizona!!!
See the post below yours. Its more about states rights.
I do agree with you, it should be the law period.
Actually, there's nothing in the Constitution or its amendments which speaks at all about immigration. The Constitution does talk about naturalization - which is the method by which an immigrant becomes a citizen.
You have to remember, the Founders had a reasonable fear of being underpopulated ~ America wasn't really a popular vacation site in those days. Consequently, they didn't say a whole lot about it.
We can initiate a Constituional amendment to control immigration in the state legislatures. Somebody think up some slick words and go to it.
