Karl Rove sought to turn the tables Sunday on Sarah Palin, jabbing her for stepping down early as Alaska governor, a day after she blistered the GOP consultant in a speech at CPAC.
Palin launched a broadside against the GOP establishment on Saturday at the gathering of conservatives, but directed her sharpest aim at Rove, reports Huffington Post.
“If these experts who keep losing elections and keep getting rehired and getting millions — if they feel that strong about who gets to run in this party, then they should buck-up or stay in the truck,” Palin told CPAC Saturday, according to the publication. “The Architect can head on back to the great Lone Star State and put their name on some ballot — though for their sakes, I hope they give themselves a discount on their consulting services.”
Rove, who was nicknamed “The Architect” by President George W. Bush, pushed back against Palin on Fox News, said the publication.
“I appreciate encouragement I ought to go home to Texas and run for office and, it would be news if I did to have her support. But I don’t think I’m a good candidate — a kind of balding, fat guy,” Rove said, as reported by Huffington Post. “And second, if I did run for office and win, I would serve out my term and I wouldn't leave office midterm.”
Palin resigned as governor in 2009, halfway through her first term in office.

She left 2/3rds of the way through, not mid-term, Einstein.
I’d leave too if my family were being bankrupted.
Would that fat Quisling bastard please go away?
Someone should ask Tokyo Rove why he dropped out of college and never got a degree.
Rove and Romney were behind the attacks on Gov. Palin
that made her protect her family and Alaska by leaving.
Rove is nothing but a backstabber of Republican women
whom he calls ‘witches’.
Rove does have a point about Palin’s abandoning her office. I’ve heard a lot of hearsay about the reasons, but she hasn’t made it clear to my satisfaction that it was a necessary step.
Don’t let the PDS brigade hear you say that, they ain’t buyin’ it! They’d have stuck it out! Just ask ‘em....
“Rove and Romney were behind the attacks on Gov. Palin
that made her protect her family and Alaska by leaving.”
Can you substantiate your comment?
The fat little nerd wasn’t around enough girls at Olympus High in Salt Lake County, to learn how to deal with them.
It shows.
And teams of lawyers dumpster diving all her old office parking lots, death threats, rumors fabricated, and stalkers moving in next door.....and this is just the stuff we heard about.
Can’t we all just get along????
Apparently not...
If he was so concerned about her being forced from office maybe Turd Blossom could have contributed some funds to help pay her family’s staggering legal bills that stemmed from the couple dozen frivolous, and in toto refuted, ethics suits. He could afford it. Rove is a leech on the a** of the Republican Party.
Funny coming from Rove, didn’t he quit his job a few years ago(Read about his history in an earlier thread but forgot the specifics) you know what liberals hate the most, to be mocked..they can’t stand it..and Sarah got under Rove’s skin(Which is hard enough considering what a fat lump of turd he is) poor Rove got his feelings hurt, awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I used to like and respect the man, but now he is nothing but a pig.
But if one defines success as failure, then Rince Priebus is the top man for the job.
Also, I would just like to add that this man has the most annoying and obnoxious name that I have ever seen in my life.
Go back to the Whig Table Karl and let the Big Girls talk for a while okay!?
Just who, exactly, is Karl Rove,
and why, exactly, should I give a flying feces
what thoughts might occasionally pass through his brain?
I mean, really.
