Limited gov’t & lower taxes may not resonate, but young men hanging around, unemployed with no prospects, living in dilapidated housing in Detroit, compared to a bustling Dallas where there are good jobs with prospects for a good life WOULD resonate. You show them the difference, then you explain why. I think it can be done in a fairly concise ad, ending with “What kind of life to YOU want?”

Blacks and Hispanics have the highest unemployment rates now. Do you think that ads are going to change their voting behavior? Voting is almost like religion. You inherit it and it is very difficult to change especially when all of your peers are of one mind. Our first black (and minority) President will not lose their support due to an ad.

And if prosperity, employment, and education were factors that are so powerful, why did Asians vote 73% for Obama topping even Hispanics at 71%? They are among the most successful group in this country in terms of education and income. Moreover they have an even lower unemployment rate than non-Hispanic whites.

The media they are listening to is utterly against Republicans on emotional issues. We aren’t going to be able to change the media, but advertising is a tried & true method of selling.

Young people are going to bear the brunt of the horrible policies initiated by Obama & the left. Every time a new Obamacare tax goes into effect, we need to broadcast that fact. Every time a Dem asks for new taxes, we need to make it known. Republicans STILL don’t know how to fight. As someone else said on this thread, they fight dirty. We need to go after them. Instead we’re polite & we let them get away quite literally with murdering our economy.

Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) the young will realize that they are the ones who will pay for it.
