It doesn’t have to be that way. I don’t see why the GOP isn’t running ads NOW, comparing Democrat/Blue states to Republican/Red states. Compare Detroit to a well-run city & point out how the leftist policies destroy people’s lives. Run ads showing the racist/divisive/class war-fare rhetoric of Obama & the left & ask what happened to E Pluribus Unum? They are so blatant, but the media lets them get away with it if not actually encouraging it.

Aren’t there people with deep pockets on our side who would be willing to fund such an ad campaign? We really need to force our message across & the only way to beat the media is to advertize past them.

The total incompetence of the Rep party to do media and the tech social community and to use ‘emotional pitches” is just unbeleivable.

You are right..that would be an excellant idea..videos of the Detroit Plantation and sad, pitiful young black men who are unemployed, hysterical seniors fearful of all the medicare cuts..etc.

And how about the incoherent economic policies? How do you build an economy from the middle class out? Impossible. And never challenged, not by the media, not by Republicans.

Hello Twotone,

Don’t recall seeing you around here much but glad you’re here.

You are, of course, quite correct.

The pubs need to work on their message, they need to change the dynamic.

They are terrible at it.

I don’t have answers but I did quite enjoy CPAC this weekend.

Buck up....we got some good ones out there and I really don’t think Sarah Palin’s going away.

Lord I loved her Big Gulp and her comment that Republican “architechs” should go back to Texas.

Heh.

Unfortunately, the message and communicating it is not the problem. Limited government and lower taxes don't reasonate with the permanent underclass that wants more free stuff from the government and they already don't pay any incomce taxes. The culture of dependency has taken hold.

The Dems are the party of minorities and their numbers are growing every year thanks to immigration and birth rates. By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities and by 2042 half of the country will be minorities.

Each year sees an increase in Dem voters as another voter cohort turns 18 and another wave of immigrants obtain their citizenship. And the GOP loses voters as another cohort dies off. Demography is destiny. We are being colonized by the Third World.
