You are spot on but we need to factor in the get-out-the-vote efforts of the democrats, their use of the media to smear and lie about conservatives, re:
-War on Women
-Homophobia
-raped women don’t get pregnant
-Romney gave a woman cancer
-Romney the rich guy who doesn’t pay taxes (and no one questioning Harry Reid slanderous comments)...
-The 47% to include old folks on SS and Medicare (which it did NOT).
-Anti-Obama = racism

Throw in a little voter fraud here and there in key swing states, lie about polls to supress the opposition...

It’s the way elections are won or lost and I’m afraid we’re on the losing side without a whole lot of changes on our part.

Question: Does anybody see any changes? Anyone on our side analyzing what happened and how to win next time? Or is it same old, same old and Jeb Bush’s turn or maybe try Christie and out-RINO Romney next time?

Frankly, I don’t hold out much hope given what has happeneing and what continues to happen right before our very eyes.

A Sarah Palin insurgency may be the only thing left for us conservaitves to try, as the Republican powers-that-be don’t seem to have a clue.

Did Nancy Pelosi ever say she “trusts” George W. Bush?

Well, actually O'bomber told us who he was, what he wanted to do and has done a pretty good job of pulling it off.

So it seems Boner truly can trust the communist moslem packer to be true to his word.

“A small minority of Reps with the Dems are now running the show in the House. It undermines any rationale for a Rep-controlled House. “

Names, please. They need to be called out.

How old is Larry now, 100?

Did you hear the recent interview where he loudly farted while speaking?

The voice sounded different but the breath smelled the same!

Publik Ed is certainly one of our problems. We are fighting on many fronts. Maybe we’ll have to have that catastrophic economic collapse where the gov’t won’t have anything to give away anymore first. Then everyone will have to learn how to do it for themselves again.

It’s very easy to look at the issues before us & just give up. But I can’t. At least not yet.

RNC Chair Priebus was on Schieffer's show, but out west the last 1/2 hour gets bumped, so I did not see it. Some comments here indicate Priebus wants changes.

Shorter campaign, fewer debates, moderator input.

I'm curious about specifics and other ideas he's got.

A shorter campaign, in Romney's case, would not have exposed him early in the swing states when Obeyme buried him with political ads and he couldn't easily respond. Actually, Mitt could have responded, but chose not to use his personal funds to buy the ads.

Extended voting is the killer.

I guess that I just grew up a little too close to Chicago to really believe much of anything I’m told, especially by somebody in the media...or even remotely connected to the government.

John Fund sez everything is good?

Okay, but just in case John Fund’s all-seeing eye don’t get this far out into the sticks, I think I’m going to go on with turning over rocks until I satisfy myself that one of your ward bosses didn’t go and screw with my ballot last fall.

And if one of ‘em did....

The bill will likely go to the current recipients’ children and grandchildren.

Since there are people here, on this conservative website, who will tell you with a straight face that they paid for ALL the Soc Sec and Medicare they are receiving, you can only imagine how tough a sell this is going to be for the sheeple at large.

I grew up in the Chi-town burbs and watched it all unfold for many years, so we agree they're not above fraud by any stretch.

However, with everyone watching nationwide, they used the "legitmate" Chicago strategy: Ward boss politics, with a little cash thrown in. It works nicely with extended voting.

The pubs been playing this election game with both hands tied behind their back far too long.

Out in here in la la land we bank online, we download movies to our cell phones.

There’s no reason why the vast majority of us can’t get to the polls in one day.

If the pubs were to launch into a campaign to fill in the holes in this voting registration system, to explain to the public how pretending that this old fashioned system is needed no more, the world revolves around photo id. Not too long well all have a dna profile to eliminate forever voter fraud.

They say it’s discriminatory, it hurts the poor.

For this we need pubs that are not entrenched. Not those elected over and over under the SAME corrupt system.

Actually, Mitt could have responded, but chose not to use his personal funds to buy the ads.

Yet it cost him the presidency, and gave us an Obama victory and four more years for the democratic left to destroy the country.

Maybe the Republicans just gotta campaign as hard, if not harder, and as dirty as the dems. That is if they really want to win.

Way too many times I've heard the perfect ad or campaign here on FR, but it never made it to TV or radio. Surely there are some Right THINKERS in the Republican hierarchy?

Still, not your fault and I appreciate your doggedness! I am just too tired and think that Kabar is right about the next elections.

I do not believe i have paid via payroll deduction enough ...WITH employer match...even half of what my medical needs will be through the end of my biological life.

I don’t know why this is except a failure to properly calculate more sophisticated medical advances and hence what would be the future cost of medical care.

I DO know that I was told I would have medical care when I retired and I believed it.

It’s not the same thing with social security but with longer life spans...a result of that better medical care....it probably will be soon.

The problem is that this political class has become so entrenched, so corrupt, it’s the thing that will turn the populace in total against all of them.

Because okay, we will compromise on entitlements, but first we want a closer look at all this political pork built up over the years.

Cause while we are without guile as monies were deducted from our pay checks over the years while false promises were made, all that pork money and planned parenthood type money was de facto stolen from taxpayer funds very intentionally.

The blue blood gop and dems don’t want to go there.

That’s your PR problem.

I shall let the soup sit and meld one day, but I am not impressed.

There is Swiss cheese in the soup.

Ate with roasted English muffin.
