ADM Gaouette was the commander of the USS Stennis Carrier Strike Group on station in the Persian Gulf area who was mysteriously summarily stripped of his command during the attack in Benghazi, Libya, in which Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were murdered.

Several days afterward, it was reported that ADM Gaouette was summarily relieved of his command during a major operational contingency event during the Benghazi attacks for the alleged claim of "inappropriate leadership judgment." ADM Gaouette's detention and total disappearance weeks before the November 2012 presidential election was a story that CAPT Bailey says "disappeared into a black hole of silence."

The John Stennis Carrier Group wasn't anywhere near Lybia on September 11, 2012. The group was still in the Pacific Ocean sailing towards its final destination, the 5th Fleet region that includes the Arabian Sea and surroundings. Adm. Gaouette was relieved of his command on October 27, 2013.

More details emerge on U.S. ambassador's last moments from CNN states:
" Three days before the deadly assault on the United States consulate in Libya, a local security official says he met with American diplomats in the city and warned them about deteriorating security.

Jamal Mabrouk, a member of the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he and a battalion commander had a meeting about the economy and security.

He said they told the diplomats that the security situation wasn't good for international business.

'The situation is frightening, it scares us,' Mabrouk said they told the U.S. officials. He did not say how they responded.

Muslims are well know for lying about their faith.
MUSLIMS are allowed to LIE and deceive NON MUSLIMS, if it benefits or protects ISLAM.
Qur'an (16:106) - Establishes that there are circumstances that can "compel" a Muslim to tell a lie.

Qur'an (3:28) - This verse tells Muslims not to take those outside the faith as friends, unless it is to "guard themselves."

Qur'an (9:3) - "...Allah and His Messenger are free from liability to the idolaters..." The dissolution of oaths with the pagans who remained at Mecca following its capture. They did nothing wrong, but were evicted anyway.

Qur'an (40:28) - A man is introduced as a believer, but one who must "hide his faith" among those who are not believers.

Qur'an (2:225) - "Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts"

Qur'an (66:2) - "Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths"

Qur'an (3:54) - "And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers." The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which literally means deceit. If Allah is deceitful toward unbelievers, then there is little basis for denying that Muslims are allowed to do the same. (See also 8:30 and 10:21)

Taken collectively these verses are interpreted to mean that there are circumstances when a Muslim may be "compelled" to deceive others for a greater purpose.

Col. Richard F. (Dick) Brauer, Jr, USAF (Ret.), SOS Air Commando Coordinator co-Founder of SOS, has a slightly different, but still vital question:
"Where was President Obama's CBA (Cross Border Authority) for the Benghazi ‘rescue’ attempt when US Defense Secretary Panetta claimed Obama told him,
‘Do whatever you gotta do to save American life.’?”

Col. Brauer explains that an insertion of any US forces into Benghazi, Libya, or across any international border into a country where US forces were not deployed,
would have required a special US Presidential CBA authorization to be issued.
So, in effect, Obama's telling Secretary Panetta to
"Do whatever you gotta do"
without simultaneously issuing a specific CBA enabling such action is like
"telling a fire station to extinguish a 5-alarm blaze while the firemen were not legally allowed to even leave the fire house, go to the fire, or douse the burning building."

So, Col. Brauer's point is
that President Obama may have known that verbally telling Secretary Panetta to "do whatever you gotta do" without his also issuing the legally necessary CBA
was "passively ordering USSECDEF Panetta to ‘do nothing.’"

Col. Brauer says his group is considering filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for all the documents and emails surrounding the ADM Gaouette
and "missing" CBA questions.

Stay tuned;
these soldier sailors have never left a man in the field,
and they will never leave Admiral Gaouette in the field.

Military Scramble Order Overseas:
First, I've got over 26 years working in military control towers, most of them as the watch supervisor/crew chief on duty.
Scrambling aircraft to respond to urgent situations normally starts at the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
The scramble order comes down through a secured phone call on a direct line.
In the attack on the U.S. embassy on Benghazi,

the drone control
would have been from MacDill AFB, FL, by U.S. Central Command,
and would have been in direct contact, or maybe even remote control to the situation room in the White House.

The pResident SHOULD HAVE issued to order to scramble fighters to Benghazi, to get there in minimum time.
Then he SHOULD HAVE issued a second order scrambling AC-130 gunships to respond to Benghazi, and have them stand by for more orders.

This should have been controlled by the pResident, who should have monitored and responded with guidance from his Situation Room,

staffed by men and women from the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community, and the military,
all of whom are committed to ensuring that the President of the United States is provided all the information and intelligence he needs to do his job.

Now we know that Obama was in the room watching Benghazi attack live.

I know from experience in the government (over 30 years) that the communication system allows for IMMEDIATE NOTIFICATION to the SITUATION ROOM,
as well as other agencies, of notification of a critical situation such as this.
I'm sure technology has changed and only gotten better since I retired, but read this with focus on
The U.S. military also used the letters, relabeled, in their now defunct Autovon phone system.^[3] Here they were used before dialing the phone in order to give some calls priority, cutting in over existing calls if need be. The idea was to allow important traffic to get through every time. The levels of priority available were Flash Override (A), Flash (B), Immediate (C), and Priority (D), with Flash Override being the highest priority. Pressing one of these keys gave your call priority, overriding other conversations on the network. Pressing C, Immediate, before dialing would make the switch first look for any free lines, and if all lines were in use, it would disconnect any non-priority calls, and then any priority calls. Flash Override will kick every other call off the trunks between the origin and destination. Consequently, it was limited to the White House Communications Agency.

Precedence dialing is still done on the military phone networks, but using number combinations (Example: Entering 93 before a number is a priority call) rather than the separate tones and the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service has superseded Autovon for any civilian priority telco access.

Present-day uses of the A, B, C and D keys on telephone networks are few, and exclusive to network control. For example, the A key is used on some networks to cycle through different carriers at will (thereby listening in on calls). Their use is probably prohibited by most carriers. The A, B, C and D tones are used in radio phone patch and repeater operations to allow, among other uses, control of the repeater while connected to an active phone line.

The *, #, A, B, C and D keys are still widely used worldwide by Amateur radio operators for repeater control, remote-base operations and VOIP-based communications systems.

DTMF tones are also used by some cable television networks and radio networks to signal the local cable company/network station to insert a local advertisement or station identification. These tones were often heard during a station ID preceding a local ad insert. Previously, terrestrial television stations also used DTMF tones to shut off and turn on remote transmitters.

DTMF signaling tones can also be heard at the start or end of some VHS (Video Home System) cassette tapes. Information on the master version of the video tape is encoded in the DTMF tone. The encoded tone provides information to automatic duplication machines, such as format, duration and volume levels, in order to replicate the original video as closely as possible.

DTMF tones are sometimes used in caller ID systems to transfer the caller ID information, however in the USA only Bell 202 modulated FSK signaling is used to transfer the data.

chat-up in the drug store and I got a kick out of how
his false teeth still clicked sometimes when he talked
just like they did back in my high school days in the
60s. The next week I read in the local paper that Chief
had passed away. Chief’s real name was Elmer Stevens
and he was the grandfather of Ambassador Chris
Stevens.

I take this whole Benghazi thing personal, maybe more
personal than I should. I have serious doubts about
Chris Stevens being involved in some undercover Syria-
weapons conspiracy but no doubt, the Obama Admin
is up to its’ eyebrows in another scandal, here. I pray
these fantastic former special ops guys are able to blow
the lid off this mess.........As to the media my only
question is why was the Valarie Plame affair such a big
issue while Benghazi isn’t? We all know the answer to

IIRC, there was a General who was in charge of the forces deployed in Africa, A General Hall...

He was also summarily relieved of his command because of his (duties) response, per his standing orders AND rules of engagement, and has not been heard from after that as well...

I believe his plight is relevant to this issue as well...

Amazing how this had to come out of CPAC...I’m actually shocked that this question, that I have had from the start as well, is re-surfacing...

And since we have had changes in the administration from Secretary of State, CIA, Secretary of Defense...We are almost assured that this issue will not come back up unless someone gets a backbone and brings it up in an official capacity...

Now, General Hall, and Admiral Gaouette had a chain of command as well, (i.e.: 5th Fleet C.O. and the army equivalent) Sorry Army, I am Navy, so I am not too familiar with the Army’s organizational chart here...

Obviously there are still questions to be answered...One that anyone with any military experience knows and understands you do not relieve established commanders in the field willy-nilly...And if you do, it comes down from a very short chain of command AT THAT LEVEL...Or it comes dirrectly from NCA (the President)...

I believe these two commanders acted in accordance to standing orders passed on from the previous administration and acted tactically to those procedures...But those policies had not been addressed strategically (politically) by the current administration, or modified to fit his Obama’s agenda...

The rules of engagement were probably also in play by both forces, both the Fleet and Army elements which were turning and burning to get a bubble over Bangazi as quickly as possible...

BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE!!!

And Obama pulled the plug on these guys, and their commands...These commanders were ready to go,and had the wheels in motion to allow lives to be saved!!!

WHY!!!

If this had been Bush, or even Reagan in the loop on this one, and they did this...I would demand the same damn answer from them...

Problem is, I believe we all know pretty much why this happened anyway...

On a side note, I have forgotten the exact title of General Hall at the time of his dissmisal...Was he the Commander of Forces (Africa)??? Is that a proper Army command post???

Just curious...I’d love to be brought up to speed from an Army brother in arms...
