At some point, the Canadians are going to conclude they are being made fools of at a very high price and will build the infrastructure necessary to sell their oil to willing buyers. China might even pay for the new pipeline across Western Canada and the port facilities. The US will lose out on the jobs and economic boost for the project and more companies will take the measure of the Obama government and do business elsewhere.

Canadian investors were going to pay for Keystone. They will pay for the Gateway (Hardisty to Kitimat) pipeline and the terminal.
The energy will go to China, along with the jobs and the prosperity.
What a shame.
