PC appointee, wonder how she feels knowing that she really never got there for her grades or knowledge but because she;s a PC affirmative action appointee.
Maybe it;s me but I like to know when I get something then it;s because I earned it and as for women in combat, PLEASE.
Been there done that and no woman can carry over a 100 pound for days , march miles and fight and then have to pick a guy up with her own 100 pounds.
Hell most men can;t and I know Israel and Britain has tried this and it never worked.
Women on submarines and on ships is not even working and yet these dopes think women should now serve in combat on the gorund

Of course women can “handle combat”. I can “handle” playing point guard in the NBA, I would be terrible at it, my team would lose every game, but I could “handle” it. What does “handle combat” even mean? The left couldn’t do any of this garbage without a compliant media. Barf.

Wait until they get fragged for not carrying their weight.
Not implying that will happen, just suggesting that it might.

What’d we expect her to say? You don't make flag rank without being political. If we only allowed world-class female athletes to go into combat occupations, they'd still be inferior to the typical male soldier or Marine that chooses that career path, I guarantee you. We are different, PERIOD.

no offense but i would not feel much respect for a female military leader.
especially if i thought they didn’t get there on work/merit.

Total B.S. My wife is seriously one of the best female athletes alive and one of the few women I have known that could do it.
If the standards were not lowered in any way, I estimate that maybe 3 out 100 servicewomen could do this. Of those 3, 2 would be physically broken before the end of a four year stint in the infantry. Sorry, women’s bodies are just not designed to carry 100 lbs of gear on long marches and jump out planes with said gear.

This retired Colonel of Marines could not disagree more.
I wonder how many patrols this female flag rank officer went on with the men?
I have no edge with them having the training necessary to manage and defend their area but to put women on point...not so sure.
To: Morgana
She really think they could have taken and held Iwo Jima?
Or a dozen other islands?
How about Omaha Beach! Films of young women being blown apart would have caused an outrage in the US.

Anyone who tells me this gets the same response: OK, then form an all-woman brigade. Let’s create a unit to test the theory by making sure that there are no men to carry the burdens for the women.
