I’ve reached the point where I can’t even get agitated any more.
The anti-gun ideology in government schools has led to so many stupid incidents that all I can do is shake my head and be thankful my kids somehow were spared this nonsense.
Our latest story comes from Michigan, where a third grader brought some cupcakes to school for his birthday. That seems innocuous, but the boy’s mother (gasp!) decorated them with toy army men.
The school decided “to remove the Army soldiers from the cupcakes” and called the boy’s family to inform them that they had committed a thought crime.
Last week, Casey Fountain’s third-grade son had a birthday party at his school in Caro. His wife decided to whip up 30 cupcakes for the boy’s classmates. She topped the treats with plastic army guys like the ones countless boys and girls have played with for decades. Fountain says he never thought his innocent act of party planning would lead to controversy. Fountain says the principal of Schall Elementary School called him personally and told him that dressing the cupcakes with soldiers was, in the principal’s words, “insensitive” considering recent gun-related tragedies.

At some point, you have to ask whether sending your kids to a government school not only puts them at risk of a substandard education, but also is a form of child abuse.
P.S. Actually, I am getting agitated the more I think about this. For all intents and purposes, the principal was equating soldiers with crazy mass killers. Why hasn’t this person been fired?
But I believe their reasoning is flawed and it will only result in dependence on government for personal defense allowing violent killers to become more prolific

I still remember when we had a rifle team in high school and the one girl used to get on our bus once a week or more and she had her gun with her. Nobody had anything to say about it in any manner and she certainly never caught flack about it since she was an expert shot. Being an expert shot had nothing to do with it because she was a nice normal kid just carrying her sport slung over her should. In today's world people would be having fits and she would never be allowed to carry on the bus. The time has come to teach our children proper defense techniques and in today's world the only way is through a weapons education class as a mandatory subject in all schools. Proper hunting techniques could also be incorporated in this class so if a situation arose at least "the children" would have a chance at surviving in the wild.
Many of us have been asking that question for a long, long time.
Parents who love their children need to take a careful look at their local government schools and get them the hell away if there is the faintest whiff of scumbag liberal indoctrination in the air. In most cases, the best thing is to make whatever sacrifices you have to, and get them out immediately. Today.

It is what you say but it’s roots go back to the radical feminist push to feminize our little boys. Their masculine nature had to be destroyed because those feminists hated men and wanted to be them. They could not compete with what nature had made so they set out to destroy it and in the weak, they have. They can punish little children just out of toddlerhood if they want under this oppressive government but they cannot destroy Mother Nature through their programming, and one day, when all civilization breaks down, Mother Nature will come back with a roar. War in this world is inevitable because of human nature and war requires MEN to fight it. With so many now emasculated, will we have enough real men around to do that. Our nation is brain washed in so many ways. God help us.

When I was in 6th Grade - my history teacher taught us about the ancient wars and civilizations - complete with our own homemade costumes, authentic foods, and weapons...there’s an agenda by the liberal teachers and administrators in public schools to label and retrain how weapons are viewed...that’s far more dangerous than little Johnny and his pop tart!

Parents need to attend their local schoolboard meetings to stop this fascism. Demand the principal and administrator be fired. If the board won’t do it, do a recall election and throw the board members out. Michigan is a strong home-rule state and you can recall any elected bonehead for any reason.
The more succinct term would be pussification.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
