Your friend can rent the gun and hand it to you. Some weird rule.
Took a friend there and was going help him rent a few to try.

You also are not allowed to go there by yourself to shoot if you are going to rent a weapon. You can take your own gun there by yourself (if you’re a California resident) but if you’re going to rent a gun, you have to have a buddy with you. I guess this is to prevent someone from going in, renting a gun, and committing suicide.
By the way, I picked up a 500 round .223 carton at Wal-Mart for $154 tonight. :)
