The more I think about this, the more I agree with those who think that government should be out of the marriage business.

The sodomites love that position. In public forums I've seen them stand to their feet and cheer it, in fact. I ask you to please rethink this.

Fact is, marriage is not only a spiritual thing, a sacrament if you will, it is the foundation of civil society. It is the most basic building block of human governance and economy. The state has an overriding interest. The survival and health of the natural family is of the gravest importance to any nation, a matter of our very survival.

“The sodomites love that position.”

I don’t get it. I think that they love that the state is involved, I don’t see why they wouldn’t? It gives them the power to punish and keep punishing those who will never buy into ‘gay marriage’ or whatever other impossibility the state decides to recognize as a marriage. They love that the state defines the institution for so many and that they have been conditioned to accept whatever the state acccepts as marriage, even something everyone knew was impossible only 30 years ago.

I think that is the big reason why it will never happen, it’s got people on both sides who want the state involved for completely different reasons.
