It's not fair to compare Obama to Hitler. Hitler at least wrote his own book and he did get the Olympics to come to his country.He was quite an effective public speaker, as well, and didn't rely on gadgets.
And he actually liked his dog.
As good a speaker as Hitler was many historians say he spoke terrible German. Without a doubt though he could rile up the masses. Goebbels was a pretty dynamic speaker in his own right.He was a man possessed of a PhD in philosophy. One of the most rousing, if not chilling orations given by anyone, despot or not,was his speech in Berlins Sportsplast in February 1943 after the defeat at Stalingrad. Goebbels whipped up the crowed to fever pitch by demanding ‘’Do you want total war?’’ And the crowd wildly said yes. Afterward, impressed by his own oratory Goebbels wrote in his diary, “If I had told them to go home to their apartments and hurl themselves out the window they would have done so!’’.
He also did a great job of organizing the Jewish community.
