Wow, they really ganged up on Cruz and no one defended him.
Durbin said that
none of the "rights" in the bill of rights are absolute.
I thought these were God given rights, not rights given to us by the legislature.
Actually, the people gave the legislature their proxy to act on our behalf, and we gave them certain prohibitions (the bill of rights).
And now they are telling us that those rights are going to be limited?

The god of Feinstein and her ilk are themselves. That's the problem described in Romans 1 - and "because of this, God gave them over".
You're correct - our rights are a gift from God. But Feinstein will never read that writing on the wall, even though she could probably see it when perched on her throne.
