These rights are absolute, in that the government has no authority to abridge them in any case, other than to prevent the direct violation of some other citizen’s rights.

Not according to Sen. Dickie Durbin. He says "There are no absolute rights".

In that case, it looks like Senator Dustbin and I will continue to disagree...

He is welcome to take the issue up, face to face, with the One who is the source of those rights.
