I would advise NOT watching that show if you are going to take them seriously, they are on a anti-gun Jihad.
I never see 2nd Amendment guests on the show debating them, they would be well outnumbered if they did.
Jim DeMint went on to annouce his new Heritage job when this gun thing was burning back in January and he completely avoided the subject when Mika baited him on it. He said something like “We all agree that ...bla-bla-bla’ and moved on.
“None of these rights are absolute. None of them.”
Our trip down the rabbit hole picks up speed. I wish the clip had continued. Am off to read down thread, and get looking for Cruz’ response to that one!

According to Mark Levin, he didn’t blow an argument. AT ALL.
What she did was change the subject to something that had nothing at all to do with what Cruz asked. And when Durbin chimed in to help her, he was talking out his “you know what”.
According to Levin, the Bill of Rights was put there so the heavy hand of government power couldn’t take power away from the citizens. When she brought up child porn as an exception to the First Amendment’s free speech right, she changed the subject to something else, since the right of free speech meant POLITICAL SPEECH to those who put the BofR into the Constitution.
He repeated on his show last night, child porn has nothing to do with this. Nothing. NOTHING.
It isn’t Ted Cruz’s fault that she thought it DID. All she did was prove how ignorant she is.
Cruz pointed out later, when he had his time to do so, that she never did answer his question he put to her. And under that pressure, she finally answered and said “No” (It wouldn’t be consitutional for the Senate to list certain books that would be prohibited from First Amendment protection.)
The formula Cruz used was to exactly parallel her list of specific guns that won’t be allowed under the Second Amendment. By asking if the same exact thing would be ok if done to the First Amendment (ban certain books) or the Fourth Amendment (name people who COULD be searched without due process etc).
She became utterly “discumbobulated” and rambled all over the place. Not a word she said in her diatribe had ANYTHING to do with his point.
You can’t “game out” liberal’s rantings. They will always get into an emotional rant and throw everything up against the wall.
Mark Levin led his show with Cruz, and praised him to the utmost throughout the show. He said it’s now a new day. These “old bulls” in the Senate now know they will be challenged and will not be given a free pass anymore. Cruz will do it consistently and will not back down.
And I will add, she made herself look like a raving lunatic who shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun, herself. Much less be a Senator trying to ram this stuff down the throats of Americans.

Yup. It’s not the weapon that makes a man a criminal. A criminal will possess all the weapons he chooses, legal or not. Obviously, gun control laws are no hindrance to criminals. Just as the constitution is no hindrance to the criminally stupid statist control freaks in the government.
