Do union leaders ever worry about public relations? Do they realize that their tactics often leave taxpayers and parents shaking their heads in disgust?

Of course not. They don't even care when the students disappear from the schools, because the spending is never cut and the number of employees continues to grow. It's a brilliant racket.

Not quite true. The number of teaching and aides positions, those employees in immediate contact with the students, these are cut. Jobs in administration, except for the clerks, never are.
